Data protection
Our privacy notice, the data processing agreement every practice accepts, and our sub-processors.

If you are a patient

Messages you receive through PatientMail are sent by your dental practice. The practice is the business you have a relationship with: it decides what is sent, it holds your record, and any appointment you book is a contract with the practice, not with us. Questions about an appointment, a payment or a message should go to the practice first — its name and number are in every message and on every booking page.

If you are a practice

Our terms of service are being finalised with counsel; until they are published, the data processing agreement you accepted at Settings governs our relationship, and English law and the courts of England and Wales apply to it. There are no professional-body rules that apply to Kari Labs Ltd itself; the General Dental Council regulates the registrants who send the messages, not the software.

Complaints

Write to privacy@patientmail.co.uk. We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days and reply as soon as we can, and we will make our best efforts to find a satisfactory solution. A patient's complaint about how their information was handled should go to their practice first, which is the controller of that information; the privacy notice explains the route, including to the Information Commissioner.

Security

Security reports go to the address in /.well-known/security.txt. Please do not test against real patients.
